Representing us on this global stage was our CEO and lead designer, Jadwiga Husarska, who took part in this unforgettable experience.
“Everything about it surprised me,” she said. “From the minimalist, zero-waste materials to the thoughtful design, our work, crafted using Strumber material, felt like a natural fit with the simplicity and intentionality of Japanese design. It’s an honor to see our work featured in one of the most prestigious cultural and innovation events in the world.”
During the course of these few days, Jadwiga was part of the Japan-Poland Trade Forum, talking about the future of the furniture industry and collaboration with the Japanese market, where she highlighted the ReHemptation furniture collection as an ideal example of sustainable design solutions, suiting global trends.
Meanwhile, within the Innovation Hub - Jadwiga shared inspiring designs and approaches to innovation and collaboration, while also holding valuable meetings with Japanese business leaders, strengthening cross-cultural connections and planting seeds for future partnerships.
The Innovation Hub at Expo 2025 also offered a platform for deeper exchange. Husarska shared her approach to innovation and creative partnerships, and held key meetings with Japanese business leaders, fostering meaningful cross-cultural relationships and paving the way for future collaboration.
Poland’s contribution continues to be featured in the Bio-Circular Materials category of the pavilion, where small, specially designed pods in the Plants section display sustainable alternatives to traditional wood. These pods spotlight materials like Strumber, a signature product of The True Green, developed with a focus on circularity and environmental responsibility.
Special recognition goes to the talented team behind the pavilion’s design: Alicja Kubicka, Borja Martínez, and Masafumi Yukimoto. Their collaboration resulted in a visually and emotionally resonant space that captures the essence of Poland with beauty and purpose.
This success was also made possible thanks to the Lubelskie Voivodeship and the Marshal’s Office of the Lubelskie Region (Lubelskie. Smakuj Życie), who included Strumber by The True Green in their Green Lanes economic mission. Their support provided an invaluable opportunity to present Polish innovation to a global audience.
Reflecting on the experience in Osaka, the team describes the journey as immersive, energizing, and profoundly inspiring, marked by thought-provoking conversations and authentic human connections.
Until then, the team signs off with gratitude and excitement for what’s ahead, carrying forward the spirit of collaboration, innovation, and creativity sparked in Osaka.
