We were so grateful to return to Milan Design Week 2025 with ReHemptation, in collaboration with The True Green, introducing our brand-new sustainable design: the LinStool, crafted from Strumber flax material and unveiled for the first time in Milan. From April 7-13, we joined the OpenSpace Exhibition at Isola Design Festival, hosted at Basic Village, to present our vision for the future of design, rooted in circularity, carbon storage, and elevated dimensions.
Created in partnership with Husarska Design Studio and The True Green, the ReHemptation collection explores the potential of annual plants–such as flax and hemp–to revolutionize furniture design. These renewable resources absorb 4–5 times more CO₂ than traditional forests and are the basis for Strumber, our biodegradable material. What started as a design manifesto continues to grow into a forward-thinking, carbon-conscious furniture line. The LinStool marks a milestone in sustainable furniture innovation, the first piece ever made from flax timber. Its minimalist design features a single flax board base and a three-layer seat, honoring the textures of wood while embracing a low-impact, forward-thinking future.
Alongside the LinStool, we presented two signature pieces from our ReHemptation collection, each showcasing the powerful potential of Strumber Hemp.
The HempSolo Table
CO₂ Sequestered: 101 kg
Material: Strumber Hemp
Designers: Jadwiga Husarska-Sobina & Stefan Hamiga
With cross-layered construction and smooth organic contours, the HempSolo table combines function, elegance, and sustainability. A bold centerpiece that stores carbon while inviting conversation.
The HempStool
CO₂ Sequestered: 12.1 kg
Material: Strumber Hemp
Designers: Jadwiga Husarska-Sobina & Robert Kowalczyk
Minimal in form, big in impact, the HempStool reduces waste while celebrating the raw textures of hemp. Each component is intentionally designed to highlight beauty through simplicity.
Together: The HempSet
The HempSolo and HempStool combine to form the HempSet, sequestering nearly 113.1 kg of CO₂ in their raw material state, proving that great design can actively contribute towards a sustainable future.
At ReHemptation, sustainability is the foundation. Every piece in the collection is created with intention, using fast-growing, carbon-sequestering plants and minimalist forms that challenge traditional design norms.
Together, we’re building a better relationship between people, products, and the planet.
