Every project with Egzotech began with a deep dive into the needs of patients and therapists. We conducted extensive research, interviews, and observations to understand the challenges of neurological and orthopedic rehabilitation. This human-centered approach informed each design decision – from ergonomics to aesthetics. For example, during the design of the Luna EMG robot, our team performed in-depth user research and iterative prototyping in close consultation with both the client’s engineers and real patients.
Insights from physiotherapists and patients guided critical features like adjustability, comfort, and intuitive controls. By listening to end-users and caregivers, we were able to embed empathy into Egzotech’s products – making high-tech devices feel approachable and even friendly. This collaborative, user-first design process became a hallmark of our partnership, reinforcing that truly innovative solutions begin with understanding the people who use them.
Husarska’s design team worked on multiple groundbreaking devices in Egzotech’s portfolio, creating a cohesive family of rehabilitation products tailored to different therapy needs. The flagship Luna EMG – a robotic system for upper and lower limb neurorehabilitation using Electromyography – was conceived to be as effective clinically as it is engaging emotionally. We balanced sleek, ergonomic form with playful elements like gamified exercises, so that even anxious or young patients would feel at ease using the robot.
Following Luna’s success, our collaboration expanded to devices like Meissa OT, the world’s only EMG-guided upper-limb rehab robot, and Stella BIO, a portable electromyography and electrostimulation unit. Each device features user-centric innovations, all sharing a common design language of simplicity and approachability. We also co-developed Mezos SIT, an adjustable rehabilitation chair that pairs with Luna EMG to ensure patients are optimally positioned and comfortable during therapy. Across this product family, Husarska harmonized form and function: smooth organic shapes and friendly colors reduce the intimidation factor for patients, while smart modular features (swappable attachments, easy adjustments) empower therapists with flexibility.
Such a deep product collaboration naturally extended into Egzotech’s brand and digital presence. Husarska led a comprehensive rebranding effort from the beginning of cooperation with Egzotech, aligning the company’s identity with its innovative mission and product design code. We refined Egzotech’s logo and visual identity to evoke modernity, trust, and care – mirroring the clean, high-tech yet humanized nature of the products. A consistent color palette and design language now unite everything from device casings to marketing materials. In tandem, our team designed and developed a website for Egzotech, built to serve both medical professionals and international partners. We produced all content in-house – incorporating engaging copy, device renderings, and instructive graphics – to ensure brand consistency. The result is a brand ecosystem that tells a cohesive story of caring through technology. This unified brand and web presence has been crucial as Egzotech expands globally, giving the company a professional, heartfelt voice to match its groundbreaking products.
To support Egzotech’s products and brand launch, we orchestrated a full suite of visual media production. The Panopticon Films team produced high-quality product videos – for instance, a promotional film introducing Meissa OT’s capabilities – that demonstrate the devices in action and explain their benefits in simple, compelling terms. We also conducted extensive photoshoots for use on the website and in catalogs. Many of these took place at our #creativespace studio, where we staged Egzotech’s equipment in both clinical and lifestyle scenarios. Professional photography captured every detail: the gentle curves of the devices, patients interacting with the robots, and genuine moments of rehabilitation success.
Throughout the years, we delivered a product family and a rich content library that helps Egzotech communicate its value to clinics, investors, and patients alike. This holistic approach to product design and visual communication further solidified the emotional connection between Egzotech’s brand and its end-users – showing real people regaining mobility with the help of empathetically designed robots.
The Egzotech story shows that mutual trust and wide cooperation generate an outcome that is more than just a new device – it’s an ecosystem of a consistent brand empowered with perfectly designed products.
